Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Oct 28 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday inaugurated the online process for obtaining a status certificate or 'Haisiyat Pramaan Patra' in Lucknow's Gomatinagar area on Sunday.
Furthermore, Adityanath inaugurated the new Tehsil Bhavan here.
The Chief Minister, while addressing the gathering at the event, said the online procedure of issuing status certificate will help people connect with the government better. "It will facilitate us to provide better facilities to the people with ease. And, the right infrastructure (building) will make the system more organised, timely, and effective," he added.
Adityanath continued, "Once you apply for it, you'll get your certificate (pramaan patra) in 20 days, and we will try to reduce time limit in the coming days. The technological advancements in the country have greatly aided the Revenue Department."
He also directed the officials to solve problems of applicants, if any, within a span of three days.
The form for the certificate includes all details related to property (movable and immovable), banking, and basic information about the applicant. It will deal with day-to-day problems faced by the citizens.
Comparing the present law and order situation in the state to that which prevailed one and a half years ago, the Chief Minister said, "When we came into power the law and order situation in the state was terrible. We took steps to reduce organised crime in the state. But, there was still a challenge before us; we did not know what to do about matters pertaining to the Revenue Department. This (Status certificate and Tehsil Bhavan) is the result of our teamwork."
"In the last 1.5 years that state has become a market full of opportunities for investors, we have got investments worth Rs. 75,000 crore since then. And, in the coming December, we are planning to get investments worth Rs. 1 lakh crore. This will provide employment to around 10 lakh youth in the state," he added.
The Chief Minister also spoke about the policies and programmes initiated by the government for the betterment and skill development of people in the state. (ANI)
