"Yoga got new identity at international level due to PM Modi's efforts," says Haryana CM Saini

On the occasion of the 10th International Day of Yoga, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday performed Yoga in Hisar and hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he earned global recognition for yoga and that over 200 countries are celebrating International Yoga day today.

Hisar (Haryana) [India], June 21 (ANI): On the occasion of the 10th International Day of Yoga, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday performed Yoga in Hisar and hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he earned global recognition for yoga and that over 200 countries are celebrating International Yoga day today.
"Yoga is not a part of our life but our way of living. Swami Ramdev brought yoga into our lives. With the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yoga got a new identity at the international level. Due to his efforts, the proposal of International Yoga Day was put forward in the UN and 177 countries agreed on it. Today, International Yoga Day is being celebrated in more than 200 countries," said Haryana Chief Minister
He further added that in today's hectic life, Yoga is our source of energy. Until the vaccine came during the Coronavirus period, Yoga remained an important means of our life.
"We intend to get yoga reach every village in the country. Till now, around 850 Yoga Sahayaks have also been appointed. Yoga assistants will be strengthened by giving them training as dieticians," said the Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav performed Yoga in Bhopal. "Greetings to everyone on the occasion of International Day of Yoga...in a way, the whole world is a fan of Yoga now...", CM Yadav said.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa and other ministers of the state cabinet performed Yoga at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, on International Day of Yoga.
"Everybody should do yoga and keep themselves healthy...Yoga is our tradition...PM Modi has made Yoga famous across the world..." said Rajasthan Chief Minister.

Delhi Lt Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena performed Yoga in the national capital. " ...Yoga should become a part of our lives. Yoga, which has been a tradition of India is now famous across the world. The whole world has started celebrating Yoga..." the L-G said.

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel along with others performed Yoga in Nadabet, Banaskantha.

Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai performed Yoga on the occasion of International Day of Yoga. The programme was organised at the Science College ground in Raipur. Minister of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department Laxmi Rajwade was also present during the event.
Karnataka BJP leaders, including state party chief B.Y. Vijayendra and C.N. Ashwathnarayan, perform Yoga in Bengaluru on International Day of Yoga. (ANI)
