"Working to rescued child safely": MP CM Mohan Yadav after 6-yr-old boy falls into borewell in Rewa

CM Yadav posted on X, "News about a child falling into a borewell in Manika village of Rewa district is sad. A team of SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) and district administration is trying to get the child out safely. I am also in constant touch with the local administration. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has been instructed to reach the spot. We will leave no stone unturned to bring out the innocent child safely."

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], April 13 (ANI) Rescue operations to bring out a six-year-old boy fell into an open borewell in an agricultural field at Manika village in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa district continues and chief minister Mohan Yadav said that they would leave no stone unturned to bring out child safely.
The boy fell into the borewell while playing in the agricultural field on Friday evening. On getting the information about the incident, the rescue team reached the spot and started an operation to bring him out.

CM Yadav posted on X, "News about a child falling into a borewell in Manika village of Rewa district is sad. A team of SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) and district administration is trying to get the child out safely. I am also in constant touch with the local administration. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has been instructed to reach the spot. We will leave no stone unturned to bring out the innocent child safely."
Meanwhile, the CM also spoke to ANI, expressed sadness over the incident and hopeful that the administration would save the child with all its might.
"A child fell into a borewell while playing in Manika village in Rewa district and it is very sad. We have deployed a team there for rescue but due to rain and mudslides, the operation is facing a lot of difficulty. I am hoping that the administration will save the child with all its might. We will do whatever is necessary in this regard," CM said.
The chief minister also said that he had given instructions in the past and given again that any such borewell in any area should be closed immediately and such incidents should not happen in future.
"Our MLA Siddharth Tiwari is at the spot. I have talked to the collector, SP and the rescue team is engaged in the operation. I hope we succeed in it. It is a very sad incident. I have already given instructions in the past and I am giving again that any such borewell in any area should be closed immediately and such incidents should not happen in future," CM further said.

Meanwhile, Rewa Collector, Pratibha Pal has said that the depth of the borewell is around 70 feet and the child was probably stuck at 45-50 feet in it. The rescue team was trying to rescue the child.
"We are trying to rescue the child that fell into the borewell. The depth of the borewell is 70 ft. The information that we have after digging 50 ft, and through the camera and all, the child is possibly stuck at the depth of 45-50 ft. The NDRF team is digging a horizontal tunnel to reach the child," the collector said. (ANI)
