Woman tourist found dead in Goa hotel

Arpora (Goa)[India], Apr 28 (ANI): A woman tourist was found dead inside a hotel room here, the police said on Sunday.

Arpora (Goa)[India], Apr 28 (ANI): A woman tourist was found dead inside a hotel room here, the police said on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Alka Saini who is a resident of Himachal Pradesh and had come to visit Goa with her boyfriend Sukhwinder Singh and was staying in the hotel where the duo checked in on April 20.
"We got information about the woman's death from the hotel management at around 5 pm. The body has been sent to the Medical College in Bamobilm for post mortem," said Navlesh Desai, Inspector, Anjuna police station.
A case of murder has been registered at the Anjuna police station while Saini's boyfriend is still absconding.
Further investigation in the matter is underway. (ANI)
