With 48 new cases, COVID-19 tally in Andhra Pradesh climbs to 2719

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], May 26 (ANI): With 48 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours, the state tally reaches 2719 as of Tuesday, according to state COVID Nodal Officer.

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], May 26 (ANI): With 48 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours, the state tally reaches 2719 as of Tuesday, according to state COVID Nodal Officer.
According to a daily medical bulletin released by the state's COVID nodal officer, 48 out of 8148 samples in the state tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. Whereas, 55 have been discharged, making the total number of discharged patients to 1903. In the past 24 hours, 1 death has been reported in the East Godavari district.
The cumulative positive cases from foreign returnees are 111, including 44 from Kuwait, 3 from Abu Dhabi and 2 from Qatar alongside 153 COVID-19 cases from other states like Maharashtra and Odisha, informed the nodal officer.
As of Tuesday, there 759 COVID-19 active cases and 57 total deaths have been registered in Andhra Pradesh. (ANI)
