"Will present key issues related to Uttarakhand at 25th Central Regional Council meeting," says CM Dhami

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said he will present important issues related to the state at the 25th meeting of the Central Regional Council, chaired by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in Varanasi on Tuesday.

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 24 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said he will present important issues related to the state at the 25th meeting of the Central Regional Council, chaired by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in Varanasi on Tuesday.

"Today, I will present important issues related to Uttarakhand in the 25th meeting of the Central Regional Council, chaired by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in Varanasi," Dhami said.
Dhami said that as a border state, protecting borders, improving interstate coordination, and ensuring the safety of tourists and pilgrims are top priorities.
He added that the upcoming Central Regional Council meeting will include important discussions on disaster management, transportation, health, tourism infrastructure, and other key issues affecting the state.
"Being a border state, our priority is to protect the borders, interstate coordination, and provide safe and convenient experience to tourists and pilgrims. In the meeting, meaningful discussions will be held with the Center and other states on disaster management, transportation, health, tourism infrastructure and other issues of state interest," he added.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is chairing the 25th meeting of the Central Zonal Council in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav are also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, key issues including regional security, development, health, administrative coordination, and state-specific concerns will be discussed.
The Central Zonal Council aims to strengthen cooperation among states, resolve inter-state disputes through dialogue, deliberate on matters of common interest, ensure equitable utilisation of natural resources, and promote developmental activities in sensitive regions.
The Central Zonal Council comprises the states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh. The meeting is being organised by the Inter-State Council Secretariat under the Ministry of Home Affairs in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh government. (ANI)
