"Will not spare those behind the attack", DGP Dilbag Singh after killing of labourer in JK's Pulwama

Reacting to this, DGP Singh said, "I am confident that police will identify and nab those who are involved in yesterday's and today's attack. We will not spare those behind the attack. The neighbouring country doesn't like peace here in Jammu and Kashmir".

Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], October 30 (ANI): Hours after a migrant labourer succumbed to his injuries after being shot by terrorists in JK's Pulwama, DGP Dilbag Singh on Monday exuded confidence in the investigation carried out by J-K Police and said that they'll not spare those who are behind the attack.
The migrant labourer succumbed to his injuries after being shot by terrorists in the Tumchi Nowpora area of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama on Monday, police said. According to the J-K police, the deceased has been identified as Mukesh who hailed from Uttar Pradesh.
Reacting to this, DGP Singh said, "I am confident that police will identify and nab those who are involved in yesterday's and today's attack. We will not spare those behind the attack. The neighbouring country doesn't like peace here in Jammu and Kashmir".
Earlier on Sunday, a police officer was shot at by terrorists near Eidgah, Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. The injured Inspector was identified as Masroor Ahmad and was swiftly shifted to a hospital.
"Terrorists fired upon and injured Inspector Masroor Ahmad near Eidgah, Srinagar. He was immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment. Preliminary investigation revealed that a pistol was used in this terror crime. The area was cordoned off, case was registered," Jammu and Kashmir police posted on X.
Meanwhile, J-K police also informed on Monday that one terrorist was killed after an infiltration bid foiled in a joint operation of the police and Army in North Kashmir's Kupwara district.
"In a joint operation that commenced yesterday, Army and Kupwara Police have successfully foiled an infiltration attempt in the Jumagund area of Keran sector in which one terrorist has been killed," police said. (ANI)
