Markapuram (Andhra Pradesh) [India], Feb 25 (ANI): Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Sunday announced to form Madiga Corporation if it forms a government in the state.

Reddy, who is on a 3,000-km-long historic walkathon, on Sunday reached Markapuram town in Prakasham where he announced the formation of Madiga Corporation.

Reddy met the representatives of Madiga Corporation Sadana Samithi led by Kommuri Kanakaraomadiga, the State Convenor Kambalapadu village, Markapuram constituency.

"We are backward class and Usha Mishra Commission has also recommended the financial assistance to Madiga community," Kommuri Kanakaraomadiga said.

He demanded to form a Special Corporation for Madiga Community for their empowerment and social upliftment.

YSRCP Chief Jaganmohan Reddy, immediately assured the Madiga Corporation Santana Samithi leaders that his party would form a special corporation for Madiga community once YSRCP forms the Government. (ANI)
