"Will form govt in Haryana, CM Saini will be re-elected": BJP's Lila Ram Gujjar

Kaithal (Haryana) [India], September 5 (ANI): BJP candidate from Kaithal Assembly constituency, Lila Ram Gujjar, extended gratitude to the top leadership for his candidature and said that the BJP will form the government in Haryana for the third time and that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will be re-elected as the CM.
"I extend my gratitude to the top leadership of the BJP for trusting a small party worker like me, for the second time. BJP will form the government in Haryana for the third time, and CM Nayab Singh Saini will be re-elected as Haryana's Chief Minister," Lila Gujjar told ANI.
Meanwhile, BJP candidate from Badli Assembly seat, Om Prakash Dhankhar, also expressed gratitude to the party's leadership and said that the party would keep working for the development of the state.

"I am grateful to the leadership of the BJP, PM Modi, the National President and all the other leaders for giving me this opportunity. The people have seen the work of 10 years and now we have a pure-hearted CM who is working for the people. We have done a lot of work that Congress was not even able to think of. We will do all the work that is remaining," Dhankhar said.

BJP candidate from Jagadhri Assembly seat, Ch Kanwar Pal, also thanked the senior party leaders and said, "I will get the blessings of the people. I thank all the BJP workers of Haryana and the BJP leadership. People have not forgotten the discrimination done by Congress in development, employment, and law and order. Wherever Congress has formed government, they have made only false promises."
Meanwhile, the BJP released its list of candidates for Haryana, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will contest from the Ladwa constituency and former state home minister Anil Vij from Ambala Cantt. Other prominent leaders included in the first list are Gian Chand Gupta, Kanwar Pal Gurjar, Sunita Duggal, Bhavya Bishnoi, and Tejpal Tanwar. Gian Chand Gupta will contest from Panchkula, Kanwar Pal Gurjar from Jagadhri, Sunita Duggal from Ratia, Bhavya Bishnoi from Adampur, and Tejpal Tanwar from Sohna.
On Tuesday, a key meeting was held to discuss the candidates at former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar's residence in Delhi.
The meeting was attended by BJP Haryana Election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, election co-in-charge Biplab Dev, state in-charge Satish Punia, and state co-in-charge Surender Nagar, among others.
On September 2, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda, BJP Haryana election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, election co-in-charge Biplab Dev, state in-charge Satish Punia, state co-in-charge Surender Nagar, and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar met and held talks regarding the candidates.
Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will be held on October 5, with the last date for filing nominations being September 12. The counting of votes will take place on October 8.
On August 31, the Election Commission of India (ECI) revised the polling date for the Haryana Assembly elections from October 1 to October 5 and moved the counting of votes for both the Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana assemblies from October 4 to October 8. (ANI)
