New Delhi [India], September 3 (ANI): Union Health Minister and BJP president JP Nadda on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given priority to the organisation despite his hectic schedule which requires monitoring the nuances of governance.
Speaking at the launch of the BJP's 'Sanghatan Parva, Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024', he said PM Modi is a role model for party workers.
"I welcome and thank all of our karyakartas for coming to this event. Modiji, being the Pradhan Sevak of the country, maintains a busy schedule to monitor the nuances of governance. He is an inspiration and a role model for all of us. PM Modi has always prioritised Sangathan. Whenever Sangathan needed him, PM Modi made sure to take time out of his busy schedule and be there for the Sangathan," Nadda said.
"When Amitbhai Shah was the national president of the party, at that time he had given priority to the membership campaign. He had said that we will change the path of the organisation, we will change the methods of the organisation, so that we can include more and more people in the party who want to walk with the lotus symbol... It was the first time we decided to sign up for the membership digitally and it was the first time we crossed the target of 10 crore," Nadda added.
Nadda expressed confidence that the membership will reach 10 crore-mark again.
PM Modi launched the BJP's 2024 membership drive by renewing his party membership. (ANI)
