"We will provide jobs to youth, both in govt and private sectors": Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Sunday that the state government will provide jobs to the youth in both the government and private sectors. While addressing an oath taking ceremony organised by Akhil Bhartiya Rao Rajput Mahasabha, Sharma said, " We will provide jobs to the youth, both in govt and private sector. For those who can come forward in the field of sports, I have said that we will build a sports university for them."

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], July 15 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Sunday that the state government will provide jobs to the youth in both the government and private sectors.
While addressing an event organised by Akhil Bhartiya Rao Rajput Mahasabha, Sharma said, "We will provide jobs to the youth, both in the government and private sector. For those who can come forward in the field of sports, I have said that we will build a sports university for them."
He also laid emphasis on the welfare schemes for the poor and the vision for development in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"You people must have seen the welfare schemes for the poor, the vision for the development of the country, the security of the borders, the elimination of terrorism and Naxalism and the increasing stature of India in the world under the leadership of PM Modi," he said.
Deputy CM Diya Kumari, who holds the finance portfolio in Rajasthan, also participated in the event.
On July 10, the Rajasthan Government presented the budget for the financial year 2024-25, which mentioned 4 lakh jobs will be provided in five years for the youth of the state, as well as proposed a new 'Youth Policy-2024' that will provide apprenticeship and internship programmes and AI-based counselling.
The budget presented by Deputy CM Kumari focused on many aspects, including the development of basic amenities like water, electricity, and roads; human resource development and planned development of rural and urban areas with sustainable development; the empowerment of farmer families with respect; the development of MSMEs along with big industries, heritage conservation with the idea of heritage development; Green Rajasthan; health for all; providing social security to deprived families; and establishing good governance with perform, reform and transform.
The estimated revenue of the state for the financial year 2024-25 is Rs 2.64 lakh crore, while the estimated expenditure is Rs 2.90 lakh crore. (ANI)
