Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], January 1 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jayswal on Monday said that the new BJP government is committed to fulfil the promise made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party is determined to make significant strides in every aspect of healthcare.
"We will fulfil the guarantee given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and with the resolve with which the Bharatiya Janata Party has to improve health facilities, whether it is the Ayushman Bharat card of 10 lakhs or improving the health facility here, we will work quickly in every direction," Jayswal told ANI.
On being asked what will happen to the flagship schemes of the previous government, Chhattisgarh Health Minister said, "We will test; whatever their schemes are, if they are beneficial for the people, they will continue, and we will decide on testing those that are not useful."
On being asked what decisions will be taken in the cabinet meeting tomorrow, Jaysawal said, "It will only be known after the cabinet meeting what will be discussed in the cabinet tomorrow. The cabinet is a routine matter and it is not necessary that a scheme be implemented in the cabinet until a meeting is held. There is also a discussion about the situation of the entire state in the cabinet." (ANI)
