New Delhi [India], September 1 (ANI): Gujarat BJP chief CR Paatil said that due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's support, inspiration and hard work of the country's scientists and engineers, the indigenous 700-megawatt electric (MWe) Kakrapar Nuclear Power Plant in Gujarat has started its operations in full capacity.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the scientists and engineers for this. We extend our greetings to PM Narendra Modi. This comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the starting of full capacity operations at India's first indigenously developed 700-megawatt electric (MWe) nuclear power reactor at the Kakrapar Atomic Power Project (KAPP) in Gujarat on Thursday and called it "another milestone" in the country's progress.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also congratulated the scientists and engineers involved in the project.

It is a firm step towards attaining PM @narendramodi Ji's vision of self-sufficiency in power production.
