Waqf Board meeting with BL Santosh concludes; meeting with JPC to be held soon

New Delhi [India], September 3 (ANI): The Waqf Board Chairman of four states on Tuesday met the National General Secretary of the BJP (Org), BL Santosh, at the party's headquarters.
This meeting lasted for about one hour. National General Secretary BJP Dushyant Gautam was also present at the meeting.
Uttarakhand Waqf Board Chairman Shadab Shams, Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board Chairman Sanawar Patel, Haryana Waqf Board Administrator Chaudhary Zakir Hussain, BJP Minority Front's National Executive Member Maulana Habib Haider, and BJP Minority Front's National Executive Member Nasir Hussain, besides Himachal Waqf Board's former Chairman Rajbali, were present in the meeting.
BJP Minority Front's National President Jamal Siddiqui was also present in the meeting.
According to sources, a healthy discussion was held in the meeting. BL Santosh instructed the Minority Front to work quietly in relation to the Waqf Board. A series of meetings are going on regarding the Waqf Board and the waqf board presidents of many states will soon meet again with the organisation's general secretary at the BJP headquarters.
According to sources, a committee of seven members will run several awareness campaigns regarding the confusion being spread by the opposition regarding the Waqf Board, so that people do not have any kind of confusion regarding the Waqf Board Amendment Bill.
BL Santosh has asked more and more people to seek suggestions so that Muslims do not feel that the waqf Board will work contrary to them.
According to sources, the seven-member committee will soon meet the Joint Parliamentary Committee chairman Jagdambika Pal and give the suggestions taken from the Muslim communities.
