Veteran journalist Prem Prakash receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Renowned veteran journalist and Asian News International (ANI) founder Prem Prakash was honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award in the national capital, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the field of journalism.

New Delhi [India], July 26 (ANI): Renowned veteran journalist and Asian News International (ANI) founder Prem Prakash was honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award in the national capital, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the field of journalism.
The award ceremony was graced by Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat, Vice Chancellors of various universities, Directors and Principals of various colleges and schools, eminent personalities and stakeholders from the education sector, government officials, social media icons, etc.
The Global Education Mentor Awards program was organized at Ambedkar International Center in Delhi.
ANI chairman Prem Prakash has dedicated over 70 years in the world of journalism.
Throughout his illustrious career, he has established new dimensions to journalism from time to time and emerged as a great inspiration to society.
The Global Education Mentor (GEM) Awards aims to celebrate the achievements of those who have dedicated their lives in improving education or its associated social sector and promoting innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
The award is for individuals who have encouraged the adoption of best practices in education in any way and empowered students, teachers and communities to improve education outcomes and foster collaboration and partnership among education stakeholders.
Among the various categories of the Global Education Mentor Award, the Lifetime Achievement Award holds great prestige as it is given to individuals who have made significant contributions to social education throughout their lifetime.
Prem Prakash is a pioneer in Indian journalism and during his long career has covered some of the most important stories of post-Independence India including the 1962 war with China, the 1965 and 1971 wars against Pakistan, the Emergency, the assassination of Indira Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri's fateful Tashkent journey.(ANI)
