Purulia (West Bengal) [India], April 27 (ANI): Applications have been invited to fill a vacancy in Sainik School on a pay scale of Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300.
Person having a decent experience in catering in any organisation can apply to fill up a vacant post of 'Mess Manager' on the regular basis having a Level 5 pay scale of Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300.
The vacancy has been opened in Sainik School in West Bengal's Purulia.
The age requirement for the applicants for the job is between the 18 to 50 years bracket as on April 1, 2022.
Coming down to the essential eligibility part, a person with the minimum educational qualification of matriculation or equivalent and having experience of at least five years of running a catering organization independently in the Civil, in the Defence Services or in any other similar organization are eligible for the post.
The candidate should also be able to maintain mess accounts which also comes under the eligibility criteria.
However, the candidate having a diploma or degree in catering from a recognised institution is desirable. A Junior commissioned officer or equivalent from the catering trade or with more than five years of catering experience is also a desirable criterion for the job.
The job also comes with eye-catching allowances and perquisites that include rent-free accommodation, transport and medical allowances, subsidised education for two children of the Mess Manager and National Pension System and gratuity etc as per Sainik Schools Society Rules and Regulations.
As far as the application format is concerned, the applicant has to send the hard copy of the application as per the format given on the school website www.sainikschoolpurulia.com to the Principal, Sainik School Purulia.
The data should include bio-data, attested copies of certificates, two recent passport size photographs and a bank DD which is non-refundable of Rs 400 for General / Other Backward Classes and Rs 200 for SC/ST candidates drawn in favour of "Principal, Sainik School Purulia.
As per the school, only the candidates whose applications are shortlisted will be called for the test or interview.
The school administration reserves the right to cancel the vacancy due to administrative / policy reason. (ANI)
