Uttarakhand Raj Bhawan to host 'Basantotsav' on March 13-14

The Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (RDPR) Department, Government of Karnataka, has expanded its partnership with the British Council to strengthen English language learning, library services, and knowledge access in rural areas through the state's Gram Panchayat Arivu Kendras (Knowledge Centres).

The government led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is working with sensitivity to encourage meritorious students across the state, with a total of 21,743 students receiving scholarships under different schemes so far, the Uttarakhand Assembly was informed during the Budget Session.

Former IPS officer RN Ravi takes oath as the Governor of West Bengal at a ceremony in Lok Bhawan on Thursday in Kolkata.
