Uttarakhand LS candidate Bobby Pawar booked for vandalization, harassment in Dehradun

In her complaint, she said that Bobby Panwar, along with some unidentified men, entered the coaching centre and vandalised, abused, assaulted and harassed the female employees by using indecent language and behaving indecently."

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], July 13 (ANI): Bobby Pawar, who recently contested the Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate from the Tehri Lok Sabha seat, has been booked by the police for vandalization and harassment after allegedly breaking into a coaching centre in Dehradun.

According to the police, Pawar has been accused of harassing the female employees of a coaching centre by using indecent language and behaving inappropriately.
Sharing details, police said, "An application was given by a victim at Raipur Police Station, Dehradun, stating that she is an employee of a coaching centre. In her complaint, she said that Bobby Panwar, along with some unidentified men, entered the coaching centre and vandalised, abused, assaulted and harassed the female employees by using indecent language and behaving indecently."
The police said that the allegations against Bobby Pawar and his companions have been confirmed based on the statements recorded in court by the victims. On the application of the plaintiff, FIR No 130/2023 Sections 147/323/342/354 (A)/427/509 IPC has been registered at Raipur Police Station. Hence, a case was registered under various sections of the IPC against Bobby Pawar, and his two companions at Raipur police station in Dehradun.
Various footage of the incident, which were received through various sources, have been included in the investigation and the CCTV footage and DVR obtained from the spot have been sent to FSL Dehradun for forensic investigation.
The accused in the above case was summoned to Police Station Raipur for investigative proceedings. He appeared at Police Station Raipur on July 12, 2024, and recorded his statement.
In the above case, a legal notice has been served to the accused instructing him to comply with the conditions of Section 41 (a) CrPC, to be present in the court during prosecution proceedings, and to cooperate in the investigation, not to influence the witnesses and to follow the law.
In the investigation, other accused have also been summoned for statements, and other unknown accused are also being identified. (ANI)
