CM Dhami congratulated all the advocates on the foundation stone laying of the new chamber building and said that today is a very historic day. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the work of strengthening the judicial infrastructure is being done continuously in the entire country, including Uttarakhand. In the last ten years, the Modi government has spent more than Rs 8,000 crore for judicial infrastructure, CM said.
The Chief Minister said that the Central Government has implemented new laws according to today's new requirement by removing all the laws of the British era. After the implementation of these laws, the concept of justice will get even more strengthened. This will help all the advocates to easily present their side in the court.
The Chief Minister said that similarly, the state government is committed to strengthen all the justice related infrastructure in the state.
The Chief Minister said that the demand for the chamber building of Dehradun Bar Association was also going on for a long time, in this regard, the officials of All India Advocates Council met with the Bar Association and demanded land for the new building.
CM Dhami said that a total of more than five and a half thousand people are working here. Therefore, understanding the problems of all, it was decided to give five bighas of land to the Bar Association Dehradun. He said that I am happy that a nine-story building with 1500 chambers, an auditorium, library, canteen, and parking will be constructed on this land. He said that every possible support will be given for the construction of this building.
The Chief Minister said that apart from the anti-copying law, the state government has implemented laws like conversion law, anti-riot, etc. With their implementation, today Uttarakhand has been identified across the country as a disciplined state with zero tolerance towards crime.
