Uttarakhand CM Dhami provides appointment letters to 236 assistant teachers

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday provided appointment letters to 236 assistant teachers selected under the Elementary Education Department at the Directorate of Education, Nanurkheda. 473 assistant teachers have been selected in the first phase of counselling under the Elementary Education Department, the remaining candidates are being appointed from the respective districts.

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], August 16 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday provided appointment letters to 236 assistant teachers selected under the Elementary Education Department at the Directorate of Education, Nanurkheda. 473 assistant teachers have been selected in the first phase of counselling under the Elementary Education Department, while the remaining candidates are being appointed from the respective districts.
The Chief Minister said that continuous efforts are being made to improve the quality of education in the state. He said that a proposal for the necessary funds for the repair of school buildings in poor condition should be sent soon, and whatever amount is required for this will be given.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated all the candidates who received the appointment letters and said that being the chief servant of the state, it is his good fortune that the teachers who have the big responsibility of building the future of the children of the state are getting the opportunity to provide appointment letters. He said that the teacher has an important role in the society.
The responsibility of building the future of the children lies on their shoulders. With a good education, a child proves to be a precious heritage for the country and society. Better education is the strongest foundation of life.
The Chief Minister said that technology and innovation are taking place in the field of education. He hoped that the newly selected teachers would take ownership of the schools they go to and would do innovative work. With the arrival of new teachers, new hopes will arise in the field of education in schools.
He said that smart classes, e-learning and digital education have become important parts of education. It should be ensured that teaching work is not limited to the curriculum only, special attention should also be given to personality development and moral education. The goal of life should be fixed and the direction should be clear.
The Chief Minister said that recognizing the talent of children is also an important part of education. It is very important to prepare children based on their talents. He said that in the last three years, more than 16 thousand youth have been employed in government jobs by the state government. Jobs are also being given to youth in non-government sectors through employment fairs. (ANI)
