Uttarakhand CM arrives in Dubai for Global Investors Summit Roadshow

The Chief Minister was accompanied by cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat and an official delegation who were welcomed by non resident Indians hailing from Uttarakhand at the Dubai airport.

Dubai [United Arab Emirates], October 16 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Dubai on Monday for the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit -2023 Roadshow.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat and an official delegation who were welcomed by non resident Indians hailing from Uttarakhand at the Dubai airport.
Dhami said that he was "overwhelmed" by the warm welcome he received at the Dubai airport. He said that he will meet industrialists and NRIs in UAE and inform them about the opportunities in his state.
"On reaching Dubai Airport, I was overwhelmed by the warm welcome given by the NRIs. Under the "Invest in Uttarakhand" campaign, I will meet industrialists and NRIs in UAE and inform them about the immense possibilities of investment in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand," the Chief Minister said in a post on 'X'.
"Cabinet Minister @drdhansinghuk was also present on this occasion. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the grand welcome!" he added.
"Chief Minister Shri @pushkardhami arrived in Dubai today to ensure participation of maximum investors in #GlobalInvestorsSummit to be held in December, where he was welcomed by the NRIs at Dubai Airport," the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) posted on 'X'.
Under the 'Invest in Uttarakhand' campaign, the Chief Minister will meet industrialists and NRIs in UAE and participate in meetings organized on investment possibilities in Uttarakhand, the CMO informed.
The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand is not only the land of Gods but also the land of Yoga and spirituality. Uttarakhand is also a symbol of the country's rich cultural heritage.
Dhami said that we are proud that their roots are linked to Uttarakhand. He appealed to all the international migrants from Uttarakhand to visit their homestate once in a year. This will also inspire their future generations to connect with their motherland, he said.
The Chief Minister said that an Uttarakhand Immigrant Cell has been created in his office to establish better coordination between the international migrants from the state and the Uttarakhand government and to take prompt action on their investment proposals. (ANI)
