Uttar Pradesh: Double murder over land dispute in Etawah

A woman and her son were shot dead on Saturday in a land dispute in the Bharthana area of Etawah district.

Etawah (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 21 (ANI): A woman and her son were shot dead on Saturday in a land dispute in the Bharthana area of Etawah district.
According to the police, there was a dispute going on between their children regarding taking the soil from the field to the brick kiln.
SSP Etawah Sanjay Kumar Verma said, "A woman was killed with a shovel and a man was shot dead in the Bharthana area of Etawah. The deceased had two husbands. There was a dispute between the children of both of them regarding taking the soil from the field to the brick kiln. Punitive action has also already been taken. Today there was another fight between these people, in which two people, a man and a woman, were murdered."
"A thorough investigation is being done into this, and three teams have been deployed to nab the accused. It is expected to be successful by evening. Strictest action will be taken in this," he added.
A case has been registered.
