Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi condoles loss of lives in Greater Noida accident

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered his condolences over the loss of lives in the road accident on the Greater Noida Expressway on Sunday.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], November 10 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered his condolences over the loss of lives in the road accident on the Greater Noida Expressway on Sunday.
According to the Chief Minister's Office, CM Yogi also directed the officials to rush to the accident site and expedite the relief work.
"Chief Minister Yogi took cognizance of the road accident in Greater Noida and expressed condolences to the bereaved family members of the deceased," a CMO release said.
CM Yogi directed the officials to immediately reach the spot and expedite the relief work. He also gave instructions for proper treatment of the injured.
"Chief Minister immediately sent the injured to the hospital and directed the district administration officials to provide them proper treatment. Along with this, he has also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured," the release mentioned.
Five members of a family were killed after a truck hit their car on Sunday morning while on the Greater Noida Expressway. The victims, three women and two men were going to Pari Chowk from Noida.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Greater Noida Ashok Kumar said, "Today on the morning of November 10 (Sunday), a car coming at high speed hit a broken down truck from behind near Sector 146 of Knowledge Park police station."
"The driver died on the spot and four other people were admitted to the hospital, where the doctors declared them dead," he added. (ANI)
