Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee removed party leader and Bhagpat district president Yunus Chaudhary from his post on Sunday after a purported objectionable video of his was revealed.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], November 3 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai removed party's Bhagpat district president Yunus Chaudhary from his post over an alleged objectionable video.
According to an order of the party, issued by Uttar Pradesh party chief Ajay Rai, Chaudhary was removed from his post due to the allegations against him.
"The allegations levelled against you while you were the President of the District Congress Committee have tarnished the image of the party. Therefore, you are removed from the post of the President of Committee, Bhagpat with immediate effect," read the order.
Moreover, Ajay Rai also said that Chaudhary has been given 24 hours to respond to the allegations against him.
"In view of the allegations that have come against Yunus Chaudhary, he has been removed from the party's Baghpat District President post," he told ANI.
"He has been given a notice of 24 hours to respond to the allegations against him and failing to do so, we will take action against him. We don't tolerate such things...strict action will be taken," he added. (ANI)
