Uttar Pradesh: 40-year-old man shot dead in Ghaziabad
A 40-year-old man was shot dead by unknown miscreants on Sunday night in Uttar Pradesh's Loni area of Ghaziabad district, police said.

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 23 (ANI): A 40-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified miscreants in Uttar Pradesh's Loni area of Ghaziabad district, police said.
According to officials the incident took place on Sunday, the assailants entered the car and started firing at the man. Police have registered an FIR in the case and are investigating.
"The unknown miscreants shot three rounds at the man and fled from the area," police said.
Shubham Patel, Deputy Commissioner of Police Trans-Hindon said "Pramod, who is 40 years old, was fired upon by some unknown people. There have been three rounds of firing. He was shot dead on the spot. The body has been sent for a postmortem. A case has been registered based on the complaint of the family members.
"On the basis of suspicion, the family members have given the names of some people, a team has been deployed to search for them." (ANI)
