"Uphold public safety, ensure secure environment": IGP Kashmir instructs police officials

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], January 8 (ANI): VK Birdi, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone, took stock of the security scenario in the valley at the Police Control Room on Monday.
During the meeting, the IGP instructed the police officers to uphold public safety, ensure a secure environment and take stringent action against anti-national elements.
The participating officers briefed the IGP Kashmir about the overall security situation and the security measures being adopted to counter the challenges in the valley.
"Highlighting the importance of continued efforts and coordination among different forces on the ground, IGP Kashmir stressed strengthening collaboration between different law enforcement agencies for seamless information sharing and joint operations," the press release said.
IGP Kashmir also emphasised on the importance of precision and coordination and uphold the highest standards of security. (ANI)
