"Upcoming assembly election would be litmus test": Tripura Minister Sudhangshu Das

Unakoti (Tripura) [India], August 7 (ANI): Tripura's Animal Resource Development, Fisheries and SC Welfare minister Sudhangshu Das on Sunday said that the upcoming 2023 assembly elections would be a litmus test for the BJP party’s worker’s commitment.
Das was attending Nationalist Workers Co-Coordinating Committee’s third tri-annual conference held at the Nazrul Kalakshetra in Fatikray under Unakoti district on Sunday.
Minister Das asserted that “the upcoming 2023 assembly elections would be a litmus test for the employees' commitment to the nationalist cause. And those not aligned with the ideology might risk action.”
The Nationalist Workers Co-Coordinating Committee of Phatikrai Mandal underwent a reconstitution during its third tri-annual conference.
The conference witnessed the appointment of Ratish Debnath as the President of the newly formed Nationalist Employees Coordinator Committee under Fatikrai Mandal.
Alongside him, 12 other individuals, including General Secretary Deep Som and General Secretary Anjan Das, were entrusted with various responsibilities, culminating in the formation of the core committee of the workers.
Addressing the attendees, state Minister Sudhangshu Das emphasised the significance of party workers’ involvement in nationalist ideology. He urged party workers not only to be present at conferences and rallies but also to genuinely embrace the nationalist government's ideology.
Minister Sudhangshu Das also took the opportunity to make strong remarks about the I.N.D.I.A alliance ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and accused the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of orchestrating violence in the panchayat elections.
The day's employee conference witnessed important announcements and discussions about the nationalist cause and the forthcoming political landscape. As the reconstituted Nationalist Employees Coordinator Committee sets out to chart its path, the nation eagerly watches the unfolding developments in the context of the India Alliance and its political implications, said a party official.
The conference was attended by a significant number of party officals including District President Amalendu Das, and Mandal President Neelkant Sinha, alongside officials of the Nationalist Employees Co-ordinating Committee. (ANI)
