UP: Police apprehends two students who shot their teacher in Agra

The two students who shot their teacher in UP's Agra were apprehended by Agra police, said DCP West Agra, Sonam Kumar.

Agra (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 6 (ANI): The two students who shot their teacher in UP's Agra were apprehended by Agra police, said DCP West Agra, Sonam Kumar on Friday.
"We received the information yesterday afternoon (Thursday), that two students have shot a teacher in his leg," said DCP Kumar.
The accused have been identified as Tarun and Uttam, while the victim has been identified as Sumit, said DCP Kumar.
The DCP further said that both the accused have been arrested and the weapon used has also been recovered.
On being asked about the cause of the incident, DCP Kumar told, it is being said that one of the accused (Tarun) used to talk to some girl and this information was disclosed to Tarun's family members by the Teacher after which he took this step.
A video of the incident was also made by the accused which has been going viral on social media platforms, said the DCP.
As per the reports, the accused were influenced by a video of Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi after which they took this drastic step and even made a video depicting a disturbing display of dominance and circulated the video widely.
A case has been registered in the matter and further investigation is underway, he added. (ANI)
