Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 13 (ANI): While people usually celebrate their birth anniversary, Uttar Pradesh Minister Nand Gopal Gupta performed pooja to mark his 'rebirth'.
During former chief minister Mayawati's rule Nand Gopal was attacked with a remote bomb but was saved from the mishap. Since then, he performs this pooja for his safety.
State administration and other ministers attended the event, organised in Uttar Pradesh's Allahabad city yesterday.
As the city celebrated Nand Gopal's reincarnation day, security arrangements at Bahadurganj were increased to avoid any untoward incident during the ongoing event. (ANI)
