UP govt starts survey process on 1472 acres of land for Pharma Park in Lalitpur

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], December 14 (ANI): In line with efforts to give new dimensions to industrial development in the state, the Uttar Pradesh government is set to develop a Pharma Park in Lalitpur, Bundelkhand.
The government has started preparations to complete the survey process for the Pharma Park spread over 1472 acres in a total of five villages of Lalitpur.
The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) has prepared a comprehensive plan to conduct the survey process through the determination of the surveyor agency.
In this sequence, UPSIDA has invited applications through an e-tender for the determination of the surveyor agency under the fixed price bids process. The survey agency selected through this process will complete processes like soil testing, contour mapping and topographical investigation for the operation of pharmaceutical units.
Additionally, applications have also been invited for appointing an agency to provide a layout guide map, sectorial map and gantry signage board at Site-1 and 2 in Orai and Plastic City Dibiyapur.
The plan to establish a dedicated Pharma Park in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, covering approximately 1472 acres, will be carried out in two phases. Initially, the focus is on the immediate development efforts for 300 acres of land. While working on this phase, UPSIDA has invited applications for the selection of a survey agency.
The five identified villages where the survey is to be conducted include 426 acres of land in Saidpur under Madawara tehsil, 249 acres in Gadolikala (also under Madawara tehsil), 239 acres in Largan under Maharouni tehsil, 116 acres in Karounda (also under Maharouni tehsil), and 441 acres in Rampur.
The designated agency appointed by UPSIDA will employ modern surveying techniques, such as digital total stations, DGPS, drones, etc., to prepare a map on a scale of 1:4000 for the entire land survey. This map will be based on the Great Trigonometric Survey levelling benchmarks of the Survey of India.
Furthermore, the agency will establish a ground control network using DGPS at the inspection site.
It will conduct soil testing (mrida parikshan) in the designated area as per the standard soil testing procedures outlined in the project. This involves drilling boreholes for soil testing, collecting soil samples, obtaining soil testing reports, and completing all processes according to the instructions provided by the engineer incharge.
This comprehensive approach will reveal the abundance or deficiency of resources in the designated area for the operation of pharmaceutical units in the Pharma and Drug Park. It will further provide insights into how these resources can be effectively utilized for the operation of pharmaceutical units.
Notably, UPSIDA has taken steps to accelerate the progress of various development projects at Site-1 and Site-2 in Orai as well as the Plastic City project in Dibiyapur. In this sequence, UPSIDA has started the process of identifying an agency to provide layout guide maps, sectoral maps and gantry signage boards.
It is worth noting that Plastic Park, developed on 274.4 acres, includes the development of industrial units along with 84.93 acres for residential units and basic infrastructure. In this regard, the Yogi government has intensified efforts to complete these projects quickly, and UPSIDA is also making various efforts in this direction. (ANI)
