UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya says Mahakumbh heading towards "successful" completion

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said the Mahakumbh 2025 is moving towards a successful completion in a historic and grand manner. He added that the last 'snan' will take place on Maha Shivaratri and a large number of devotees are gathering in Prayagraj to attend the divine religious festival.

Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], February 23 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said the Mahakumbh 2025 is moving towards a successful completion in a historic and grand manner. He added that the last 'snan' will take place on Maha Shivaratri and a large number of devotees are gathering in Prayagraj to attend the divine religious festival.
Speaking to ANI, Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said, "The Maha Kumbh 2025 mela is heading towards successful completion in a very historic and grand manner. The last Kumbh bath will take place on Maha Shivratri and a large number of devotees are still gathering. Everyone is welcome and congratulated for coming to Prayagraj..."
According to Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, the Mahakumbh has ben attended by 62 crore people till now and it has become a medium for the common people to to show gratitude towards one's heritage, culture and religion.
"Today, the total number of people who took the holy dip in Mahakumbh is going to cross the mark of 62 crore people. Now imagine, in this whole which religion or community exists where under a limited time period, the followers are coming to a place. Mahakumbh has become a medium to show gratitude towards one's heritage, culture and religion...Almost every family has become a part of this event...", CM Yogi said on Sunday.
The Mahakumbh 2025 is all set to conclude on February 26 and it has been attended by many top names. This includes President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CMs and governors of many Indian states.
Other than this, the Mahakumbh 2025 has attracted global celebrities such as the Coldplay band members or former Apple CEO Steve Jobs wife Laurene Powell Jobs. Bollywood celebrities such as Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, Boney Kapoor and many more have attended the divine religious fair. (ANI)
