UP: Criminal with bounty of Rs 25,000 held in Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh), [India], March 12 (ANI): The Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested a miscreant carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head, from Bulandshahr's Khurja Nagar area.

Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh), [India], March 12 (ANI): The Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested a miscreant carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head, from Bulandshahr's Khurja Nagar area.
According to the police, two miscreants were spotted moving in a suspicious manner on a bike during a normal checking drive in Khurja Nagar area on Monday night.
The police signalled them to stop but the miscreants started firing at the police. The police then retaliated and shot at them in which one of them got injured and the other managed to escape. The miscreants have been identified as Gulwa and Dishodi.
"We were carrying out a checking drive in Khurja Nagar area. When we found them on a motorcycle and asked them to stop for interrogation and normal checking, they started shooting at us. So, we fired back. Later, when we caught one of them, we learned that several criminal cases were registered against them," Circle Officer Gopal Singh told ANI.
"Gulwa managed to escape from the spot while we arrested Dishodi who was shot in the leg. We have seized a pistol and the motorcycle from them," the Circle Officer added.
Further investigation is underway. (ANI)
