UP: Constable feels ‘proud’ to salute his IPS-son

The Chief Guest of the program flagged off the bike yatra from Varanasi to his birthplace, Vadnagar, organised at Rudraksh International Cooperation and Conference Centre, Sigra, on Thursday. The program was started by lighting the lamp by Naidu, Union Food Processing Minister Chirag Paswan and garlanding the statues of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay.

As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ programme was organised across Haryana on Thursday, during which ministers, legislators and a large number of party workers lit lakhs of diyas, conveying the message of service, values, harmony and human compassion. The glow of the diyas created an atmosphere filled with spirituality and enthusiasm.

As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the Medical, Health and Family Welfare Department organised voluntary blood donation camps at 22 centres across Varanasi district, with residents donating a total of 510 units of blood.
