UP: CM Yogi expresses grief over loss of lives in lightning strike in Pratapgarh

CM Yogi has directed the district administration officials to immediately release the relief amounts to the families of the deceased.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 11 (ANI): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed deep condolences on Sunday over the loss of lives due to lightning in Uttar Pradesh’s Pratapgarh
Wishing peace to the departed soul, the Chief Minister has expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased, according to an official release.
CM Yogi has directed the district administration officials to immediately release the relief amounts to the families of the deceased. 
The Chief Minister has also given instructions to provide proper treatment to the people injured by this disaster, as per the release.
A lightning strike caused two deaths and injured two women in different parts of Pratapgarh district on Saturday.
According to the officials, Dinesh Pal (22) was killed in Suwansa area of Fatehpur, while his neighbour Mamta (60) suffered burn injuries.
In the Ramakapurwa area of Kunda, Heera Lal (50), also lost his life due to the lightning strike. Another woman was burnt in the same area, they said. (ANI)
