UP Chief Secretary gets 6-month extension in service

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Feb 13 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday approved an extension of service for Uttar Pradesh Chief secretary Anup Chandra Pandey.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Feb 13 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday approved an extension of service for Uttar Pradesh Chief secretary Anup Chandra Pandey.
His service extension for a period of six months beyond 28.02.2019 will come into effect from March 1.
A 1984-batch IAS officer, Pandey was appointed as the chief secretary of Uttar Pradesh in June 2018.
He had superseded many senior IAS officers of the state UP cadre to take the key position in the UP secretariat. (ANI)
