"Unity in diversity": BSF takes out 'Har Ghar Tiranga' bike rally in West Bengal's Krishnanagar

The third edition of the "Har Ghar Tiranga" (HGT) campaign is being celebrated from August 9th to 15th, as part of the Independence Day celebrations.

Nadia (West Bengal) [India], August 14 (ANI): The Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday organized a 'Har Ghar Tiranga' bike rally in Krishnanagar, West Bengal ahead of the 78th Independence Day on August 15.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishnanagar, BSF DIG Sanjay Kumar told AN, "... We want every citizen of the country to feel proud of their country and hoist the national flag on their house. We are distributing flags to everyone and sending out a message of unity in diversity to our neighbouring countries... We want to see Har Ghar Tirangaa on 15th August..."
"They should understand that people belonging to different castes and practising different religions can co-exist in peace and harmony here," he added.
Meanwhile, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) also organised a 'Har Ghar Tiranga' walkathon in Srinagar.
Ajay Kumar Yadav, IG, Srinagar Sector CRPF said, "Given 'Har Ghar Tiranga', Srinagar Sector CRPF has organised a walkathon. As part of this, CRPF jawans are participating in it. The motive of this 'Har Ghar Tiranga' rally is to invoke a sense of respect for the Tiranga among people and give them a message. We are very happy to organise this."
In Telangana, CRPF, as part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan', organised a rally from Parade Ground in Chandrayan Gutta to Charminar in Hyderabad.
In the 112th 'Mann Ki Baat' on July 28, Prime Minister Modi called upon all Indians to take part in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign to celebrate Independence Day.
The third edition of the "Har Ghar Tiranga" (HGT) campaign is being celebrated from August 9th to 15th, as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
'Har Ghar Tiranga' is a campaign that forms part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. It was started in 2021 to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India's independence. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and promote awareness about the Indian National Flag. (ANI)
