"In today's world, we very well understand the importance of yoga. We have chosen the theme 'Yoga for Self and Society.' Yoga helps bring peace in our fast-changing lives. It benefits both body and mind. The civil aviation task is full of stress, and yoga will help to relieve this stress," Naidu said.

He also heaped praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for uniting everyone on this special day and said the occasion is being celebrated as a festival all over the world.
"Yoga has been popular for ages. It has had an impact on everyone's life - on a mental level and a spiritual level. It gives inner strength. Our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has united us all through this special day. It is being celebrated as a festival all over the world. The way Yoga has been adopted globally has given a boost to India's culture. Yoga is important in modern times as we are experiencing a lot of stress and not giving much importance to mental health. It is beneficial for our youth, who feel a lot of stress," the minister told ANI.
Speaking about his new role as Minister of Civil Aviation, Naidu said they are working to connect the whole country through air travel.
"We have many challenges in this sector, but we are turning them into opportunities. Our goal is to connect the country via air travel - both domestically and internationally. There are many new destinations where people want air connectivity. Connecting them via air travel is a challenge but also an opportunity for us," he said.
Naidu, the youngest cabinet minister in Modi 3.0, further said that they will also work to reduce air fares.
The participants engaged in various yoga practices and sessions aimed at demonstrating the benefits of this ancient discipline. The event underscored the commitment of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the AAI to promote holistic health practices among their employees and the wider community.
The event concluded with a collective meditation session. The Ministry and AAI reaffirmed their dedication to incorporating wellness initiatives into their organizational culture, promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle for all.
