Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav announces opening of ten new AYUSH institutes in next five years

New Delhi [India], August 31 (ANI): Union Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) Prataprao Jadhav on Friday announced the opening of ten new AYUSH institutes in the next five years.
Union Minister Jadhav was on a visit to the All India Institute of Ayurveda where he made the announcement, saying that now Indians can receive benefits of traditional medical system on the lines of the allopathic system.
Union Minister Jadhav inspected the entire campus and reviewed the facilities here and the treatment being given to the patients. In the program organized here, he emphasized that his government is committed to fulfilling the Prime Minister's effort to take Ayurveda to every home.
Jadhav said, "Ayurveda and our traditional medical system have suffered a lot during the colonial period and foreign invaders, but after the year 2014, the circumstances have changed under the leadership of the Modi government. Today, the global view on Yoga and Ayurveda has changed and its public acceptance has increased rapidly."
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the program, he said that the president. Draupadi Murmu has expressed his desire to visit this institute, so being a minister, he has also come to review the preparations of the institute.
On this occasion, the Director of the Institute, Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Nesri, while expressing gratitude to the Minister, said that the Minister has played an important role in the promotion of Ayurveda.
"In future, we will continue to get his guidance and support in reaching Ayurveda to the masses and establishing it on the world stage," Tanuja Neshri added.

Jadhav also inaugurated the auditorium built in memory of the then Medical Superintendent late Sanjay Gupta, who died during the Covid pandemic, and also released the brochure of the upcoming International Conference AROHA-2024 to be held from 17 to 19 October.
On this occasion, the Deputy Director General of the IC Department of AYUSH Satyajit Paul and many other key officials of the Ministry were also present. (ANI)
