Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], October 18 (ANI): Telangana BJP state president and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and Rajya Sabha MP Dr K Laxman met Janasena party chief Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday.
Slamming the Congress, BJP leader G Kishan Reddy said, "Congress party has indulged in corruption after coming into power in Karnataka. Congress party hadn't learnt any lesson even when they were not in rule for 10 years. I want to request the public to take note of the behaviour of Congress in Karnataka."
Earlier actor-turned-politician Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan slammed the Jagan Reddy-led Andhra Pradesh government over the financial situation of the state and alleged that the state government is even diverting the salaries of civil service employees for other expenditures.
Speaking to reporters in Amravati, Pawan Kalyan said," The financial situation of Andhra Pradesh is a chaotic situation. There is no development or progress, and there is no source of income. The state is taking loans, even to the extent that government employees are getting salaries after 10-15 days. The money that comes from the centre's consolidated fund even that money is diverted to other expenditures."
"More than 200 government employees including IAS and IFS officials did not get their salaries and pension until the 20th of last month," he said.
The Telangana Assembly polls are scheduled to be held on November 30 and the counting of votes, along with that of four other poll-bound states, is scheduled for December 3.
Telangana is set to witness a triangular contest between the BJP, the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi, and the Congress in the upcoming assembly election. (ANI)
