Under PM Modi's leadership, attempts made to bring health out of silo: JP Nadda at Bihar, Jharkhand Medical forum

Speaking at the event, Nadda said that he was delighted to know that the BJMF programme takes the socio, academic and scientific programs ahead.

New Delhi [India], October 20 (ANI): Union Health Minister and Bharatiya Janata National President JP Nadda on Sunday inaugurated the BJMFCON 2024 organized by the Bihar and Jharkhand Medical Forum (BJMF) in the national capital.
Addressing the event, Nadda said that under the dynamic leadership of PM Modi, attempts have been made to bring the health out of the silo and look at it in cohesion.
"Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have tried to bring the health out of the silo and look at it in cohesion. Under the New Health Policy formed in 2017, we have tried to take it forward as Comprehensive Health Policy. Earlier, the emphasis was just on curative, now it is on preventive...Effort is to see it holistically... We have now converted into Ayushman Arogya Mandir and we are conducting quality evaluation of the same," the minister told reporters.
Nadda further said he was delighted to know that the BJMF programme takes the socio, academic and scientific programs ahead.
"I am delighted to know that BJMF takes socio, academic and scientific programs ahead. It means that you all have become doctors and served the society as much as possible, and, in a united effort, it has tried to outreach and return to society what it has given you," he said.
Further, he congratulated and extended his best wishes for the scientific session behind the conference.
"I congratulate you and extend you my best wishes for the scientific session besides this conference, continued medical education, seminars, group discussions, panel discussions conducted by you doctors through BJMF forum. I have also been told that thousands of people have been connected to BJMF and I congratulate you on that," the Union Minister said. (ANI)
