"Unani medicine will be taught in Hindi in Madhya Pradesh": CM Yadav

If the students of engineering and allopathy courses wanted to study in Hindi, then we have accepted that script (lipi). Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], January 20 (ANI): After MBBS and engineering courses being offered in Hindi in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday announced Unani medicine would also be taught in Hindi in the state.
CM Yadav remarked while addressing a three-day Arogya Mela and National Seminar under Ayurveda Parv-2025 organised at Pt. Khushilal Sharma Government (Autonomous) Ayurveda College and Institute in Bhopal.
"I am happy to say that Madhya Pradesh is a state which promoted Hindi to teach all the branches of allopathy medicine. If the students of engineering and allopathy courses wanted to study in Hindi, then we have accepted that script (lipi). When we are heading in this direction then why is Unani medicine lagging behind? Unani medicine will also be taught in Hindi in our state," CM Yadav said.
The Chief Minister further emphasised the importance of Ayurveda stating that it is the authentic path to living a better life at every stage of age, and the aim of living for hundred years can be achieved through Ayurveda with the spirit of "Jivete Sharad Shatam".
"Nature provides remedies for every ailment, and Ayurveda is the most profound system to understand and implement it. The knowledge of plants and the practice of yoga offer a path for individuals to maintain good health. Ayurveda is a centuries-old tradition, with the entire world eager to adopt it, India stands as the ambassador of Ayurveda," he added.
CM Yadav also said that 11 new Ayurvedic colleges would be started in the state soon. As per the provisions of the new education policy, the state government gave permission to universities to run all types of courses including Ayurvedic, Medical. Arrangements will be made to run paramedical, nursing etc. courses in Ayurveda.
Additionally, the Chief Minister stated that the All India Ayurveda Institute would be started in Ujjain and the state government would provide assistance for setting up a unit of Ayurvedic products in the state. (ANI)
