U'khand: SDRF rescues 2 tourists from Chhoti Lincholi glacier point

Kedarnath (Uttarakhand) [India], May 18 (ANI): Two tourists were rescued from Chhoti Lincholi glacier point by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) on Saturday.

SDRF team rescuing the stuck tourists at Chhoti Lincholi Glacier Point

Kedarnath (Uttarakhand) [India], May 18 (ANI): Two tourists were rescued from Chhoti Lincholi glacier point by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) on Saturday.
"Two tourists were stuck on a mountain near the Chhoti Lincholi glacier point, Kedarnath. An SDRF team from the camp was immediately sent to the spot which rescued them, " SDRF said in a statement.
The tourists, identified as Hemant Bharadwaj and Vinay Bharadwaj, are natives of Delhi who were touring the state.
This year, portals of the Kedarnath temple in the Garhwal Himalayan range of Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district was thrown open to pilgrims on May 9 after a six-month-long winter break.
