U'khand chief secy Raturi directs Char Dham Yatra management to develop foolproof online registration

Raturi said despite facing challenges during the beginning days, the Char Dham Yatra is being conducted smoothly and systematically in the state due to the effective management of all the officers associated with the Char Dham Yatra management.

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], May 28 (ANI): The state chief secretary, Radha Raturi has directed the officials related to Char Dham yatra management to take the help of a reputed IT consultancy company to develop a permanent system of foolproof online registration for the devotees visiting all the religious places of the state along with the four shrines.
She asked the official of Yatra management to take the help of all stakeholders associated with Char Dham Yatra, including hoteliers, tour operators, people associated with tourism and administrative officials to develop this system.
Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand chief secretary also visited the Yatra Registration Office and Transit Camp in Rishikesh and inspected the arrangements and held a meeting with the concerned officials regarding the Char Dham Yatra arrangements.
Raturi said despite facing challenges during the beginning days, the Char Dham Yatra is being conducted smoothly and systematically in the state due to the effective management of all the officers associated with the Char Dham Yatra management.
The online registration has been started again from Haridwar and currently, about 3000 devotees reached Rishikesh and Haridwar points. All the arrangements are being conducted successfully on the Yatra route as well as in Dhams.
To deal increasing influx of pilgrims in the coming days, Chief Secretary Raturi directed District Magistrates to identify new holding places and create parking places. She also instructed officials to assess the carrying capacity of vehicles and parking places on the Yatra route soon. The funds will also be released soon, she said.
Besides, the Chief Secretary has also given instructions to strictly follow the trip card system and asked officials to take the help of national tour operators for the successful conduct of Char Dham Yatra. She also instructed instructions to coordinate and communicate with the District Magistrates and district administration of other states.
Commissioner Garhwal Vinay Shankar Pandey, District Magistrate Dehradun, Tehri, Senior Superintendent of Police Tehri and officials related to Char Dham Yatra were present in the meeting. (ANI)
