Two soldiers rescued after avalanche in Siachen succumb to injuries

Siachen [India], April 27 (ANI): Two army soldiers, who were rescued after an avalanche in Sub Sector Haneef, Siachen Sector on Sunday succumbed to their injuries, the Indian Army said.

Siachen [India], April 27 (ANI): Two army soldiers, who were rescued after an avalanche in Sub Sector Haneef, Siachen Sector on Sunday succumbed to their injuries, the Indian Army said.
As per an official statement from the Indian Army on Monday, the avalanche occurred at 1 pm on April 25.
"Two army soldiers have sustained fatal casualties due to an avalanche in Sub Sector Haneef, Siachen Sector. The avalanche occurred at 1300 hours on 25 April 2021. The two soldiers could only be rescued by the evening at 7.30 pm. Both these soldiers succumbed to injuries," the statement read.
"Rest all soldiers and porters are stable and out of danger," the Army added. (ANI)
