Agartala (Tripura) [India], May 12 (ANI): The Tripura Hajj Committee organized a ceremony at the Hajj building to honour the pilgrims who are set to embark on the sacred journey of Hajj.
Shah Alam, the Hajj Bhawan Chairman, told ANI that the event was a poignant gesture aimed at expressing gratitude and support to the pilgrims as they prepare for this significant spiritual undertaking.
"Today we are here to felicitate all the Hajj pilgrims. A total of 100; including 1 guide, Hajj pilgrims have left Agartala by Airport today. And this is the very first time, a government official has been allotted as a guide by the state government. We are here today to facilitate all of them," Shah Alam said.
Amidst a serene atmosphere, officials from the State Hajj Committee extended warm wishes and prayers to the pilgrims, emphasizing the solemnity and significance of the Hajj pilgrimage in Islam.
Representatives from various governmental and non-governmental organizations were also present, underscoring the collaborative effort to ensure a smooth and safe journey for the pilgrims.
During the ceremony, several speakers delivered inspiring speeches, highlighting the importance of Hajj as one of the five pillars of Islam and the profound spiritual experience it offers to millions of Muslims worldwide.
They urged the pilgrims to embark on this journey with sincerity, devotion, and a sense of humility, seeking forgiveness and spiritual purification.
Additionally, special arrangements were made to provide essential information and guidance to the pilgrims regarding Hajj rituals, travel procedures, and accommodation details. The ceremony concluded with a collective prayer for the well-being and safe return of the pilgrims, invoking blessings and divine protection for their journey ahead. As the pilgrims prepare to depart for the holy city of Mecca, the State Hajj Committee reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating a memorable and spiritually enriching Hajj experience for all participants.
