Agartala (Tripura) [India], August 22 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha visited and inspected various flood-affected areas and relief camps on Wednesday to ensure that flood victims receive all necessary facilities.
CM Saha visited Baldakhal Area, as well as relief camps set up at Swami Dayalananda Vidyaniketan in Dhaleshwar, Ramthakur Higher Secondary Girls' School, and Swami Vivekananda School in Town Bardowali.

Speaking with reporters after the visit, the Chief Minister said, "I have been visiting all the flood-affected areas. Today, I was supposed to go to the South district, but the road conditions were poor, so I could not go. I have now visited the flood-affected areas in and around Agartala city. We can't even imagine such a situation in Tripura."
"There has been massive rainfall everywhere. We have not seen such rain before. This is a natural disaster. I also visited the relief camps to ensure that they were receiving all necessary facilities. Everyone is working hard. All government machinery, councillors and even party workers are on the ground working around the clock," CM Saha said.

The Chief Minister mentioned that around 320 relief camps have been set up, with over 30,000 people shifted to these shelters.
During the visit to relief camps, CM Saha interacted with the victims and assured all support from the government. CM Saha also assessed the flood situation in Agartala through the Integrated Command & Control Centre at IT Bhavan, Agartala.
"Relief measures are being prioritized by the administration. Let's come together to tackle this natural calamity with collective efforts and support for those affected," the Chief Minister said. (ANI)
