TMC leader Dola Sen

Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], July 18 (ANI): All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Dola Sen on Wednesday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was responsible for circulating a concocted video of her address.
The allegation came after Dola was quoted telling TMC workers earlier this month that 75 percent of the money collected towards Martyr's Day would be deposited in the party funds.
"It is a concocted video circulated by the BJP. We complained about it and it is not my byte. I don't want to react to it," Sen told ANI.
Sen, who addressed TMC workers in Purulia district on July 11, reportedly told party workers that 75 percent of the money collected by them would be deposited in the party's fund.
"We will come back after martyrs day (July 21). There will be an audit of how much you have collected, how much you have deposited in banks and how much you (TMC trade union leaders) have taken home. 75 percent of the amount will be deposited in party funds and rest will be kept for you," she said.
Sen allegedly made these remarks at a preparatory meeting in Purulia, ahead of the party's mega Martyr's Day rally in Kolkata on July 21. (ANI)
