West Godavari (Andhra Pradesh) [India], January 27 (ANI): Launching an attack on Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP supremo and former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that it's time to hold the YSRCP accountable for its atrocities in the people's court.
The TDP supremo also alleged that YSRCP's 'Siddham' campaign is being launched to hold public meetings with "corrupt" money.
Taking a hit at Andhra CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP supremo Naidu said that the 74-day countdown for the YSRCP government has started.
While speaking at the 'Raa Kadali Raa' public meeting in Piler, Naidu said, "YS Jagan Reddy is launching the 'Siddham' campaign to hold public meetings and erect hoardings across the state with corrupt money. It's time to hold the YSRCP accountable for its atrocities in the people's court."
N Chandrababu Naidu further mentioned that YS Jagan Reddy couldn't even find candidates willing to contest in the elections, as people are reluctant to participate.
While Jagan Reddy and his YSRCP leaders claim readiness for the polls, the former CM revealed that the people are also ready to defeat the ruling party.
The TDP Chief criticised Jagan Reddy for failing to complete a single project and neglecting the development of the Pileru region over the past 5 years.
Highlighting his efforts to provide water for farmers in the Rayalaseema region, N Chandrababu Naidu noted that his TD government has allocated Rs 12,500 crores for irrigation projects in Rayalaseema.
He revealed that his government allocated Rs 4,200 crores for the Handri Neeva project and Rs 1,550 crores for the Galeru Nagari project, criticising the Jagan Reddy government for neglecting these projects.
Referring to Jagan Reddy as a traitor to Rayalaseema, N Chandrababu Naidu reminded everyone that the TDP initiated projects in the region, with NT Rama Rao launching projects like Telugu Ganga, Handri Neeva, and Galeru Nagari.
He assured that TDP would take responsibility for completing these projects and shared his vision of bringing Godavari water to Banakacherla to address issues in Rayalaseema.
Mentioning the Annamaya dam incident, in which 40 people lost their lives, the former CM criticised the YSRC government for failing to repair the dam and provide housing for those affected.
Naidu urged the youth to take responsibility for saving the state from the YSRCP by raising awareness about the state's situation.
He said that the YSRCP is plundering people with heavy taxes and increased prices of essential commodities, fuel, and electricity.
He stated that neither Reddy nor Muslim individuals in the Rayalaseema region have benefited during Jagan Reddy's regime, while everyone, including the TDP Chief himself, has become a victim of Jagan Reddy.
N Chandrababu Naidu also slammed the YSRCP Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, his son MP Midhun Reddy, and his brother MLA Dwarakanath Reddy for illegal sand mining in the state and warned that the TDP would hold them accountable for their actions. (ANI)
