Three-day 'Divya Samagam' begins in Puri, over 5,000 people from 15 countries take part

Puri (Odisha) [India], October 17 (ANI): Over 5,000 people from 15 countries participated in the 'Divya Samagam', a spiritual event that began on Monday in Puri.
The three-day event has been organised by Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Mutt to mark the 125th appearance anniversary of Srila Bhakti Pramode Puri Goswami Thakur and the 150th advent of Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami Thakur, the organisers said.
The core objective of the spiritual event is to unite and honour the global spiritual legacy of Sanatan Dharma and bring together spiritual leaders, practitioners and devotees from diverse Sanatan Sampradayas with a shared goal to promote Krishna consciousness, Sanatan Dharma, and unity among various Sanatan Sampradayas, the organisers informed.
The event kicked off with a 'Nagar Sankirtan', which commenced at Sri Jagannath Temple and culminated at Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Mutt, located near Sonar Gauranga in Puri.
The procession saw the participation of about 7,000 devotees.
It also featured a spectacular Mridanga show, Harinaam Sankirtan, captivating devotional dances, and various other spiritual events.
According to the organisers, on October 17 and 18, spiritual discourses will be held involving a total of 20,000 attendees, including in all four sessions, which will be held at Helipad Ground, Puri. (ANI)
