Three arrested for kidnapping 15-day-old baby from South-West Delhi
According to the police, the accused have been identified as Soni Pal (30), Rani Singh (34) and Pankaj (32).

New Delhi [India], January 2 (ANI): Three people have been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a 15-day-old baby boy from South-West Delhi, police said on Monday.
According to the police, the accused have been identified as Soni Pal (30), Rani Singh (34) and Pankaj (32).
The Delhi Police said that a PCR call was received on December 30 in connection with the kidnapping of a 15-day-old baby boy at Kapashera police station.
Upon receiving the information, the police registered a case under sections 365/370 IPC & 81 JJ Act and carried out an investigation.
While investigating, the police examined the CCTV footage installed near the spot and nearby shops. After examining the CCTV, the police apprehended one of the accused identified as Soni Pal.
"After interrogating her it was found that she kidnapped the child intending to sell him. She informed that the baby is with Rani Singh in Gurugram. Thus, within three hours of the incident, we rescued the baby from the possession of the kidnappers and handed him over to his mother," the police added.
Further investigation into the matter is underway. (ANI)
